Food, wine and friends. That's what Broers Jansen is all about. The cozy atmosphere will make you feel at home while enjoying an always changing selection of meat, cheese, and pairings, sure to delight the senses! 

Gezellig

A dutch word for a feeling in a place of coziness, warmth, and friendship.

Broers Jansen isn't meant to be just a bar or a wine bar, but much more.  A feeling, an experience, a warmth.

  Our 'Bro'cuterie' Boards are always changing, making each visit a chance to try new foods from around the world, as well as enjoy the local goods that our little city has to offer. 

  With a selection of wines made in house, local craft beers, and a selection of hand picked Scotch and Whiskeys from Canada and around the world; there's always something new to try, and another chance to experience 'Gezellig'.

Barolo - 11%

Luxurious flavours of dark plum and chocolate greet the nose, while hints of blackberries, toasted oak and spices are found on the palate of this great Italian classic.

Cabernet Merlot - 11%

Blueberry fruit and a long finish with dark chocolate tannins, triple oaked for good measure.

Australian Cabernet Sauvignon: - 11%

A classic Cabernet Sauvignon with a nose of blackcurrants, dark chocolate and subtle toasty notes with hints of coffee and vanilla notes on the palate.

Chilean Malbec - 11%

Warm spice notes and aromas and flavours of ripe blackberry and blackcurrant. Chile is well known for these chewy, deep, rustic red wines with intense cherry flavours and blended oak undertones.

A cooler climate style Merlot from Washington, this wine features classic flavours of cassis and chocolate. It is dark and rich with complex notes of blackberries and velvety tannins.

As one would expect from a BC style Pinot Noir, this wine features aromas of black cherries and fresh strawberries. Silky tannins while subtle notes of pepper and spice round out the palate.

Chilean Carmenere - 12%

Aromas of raspberry sauce, sour cherry, green peppercorn, and a granite-like minerality. This wine is bold and gives off a mouth-filling feel of plum and black currant. This is a bold and beautiful wine.

Broers Day Time:

Sunday to Monday 1PM to 9PM


Cost:

     1-11 People - $50 per hour for minimum of 3 hours

     12-24 People - $100 per hour for minimum of 3 hours
